Return Policy

Returns must be made within 45 days with a receipt to receive a full refund. Refunds will be returned via the original payment method; credit card and PayPal refunds will be made to the card or account used in the original transaction.

Items must be unused and in the original packaging. Any open item or items not in their original packaging are non-returnable, unless the product is defective. Cloth diapers are non-returnable if they have been washed or worn.

Items returned without a receipt will be refunded via store credit in the form of a gift card and will be refunded at the current sale price. If you wish to make a return with a gift receipt, you may receive a store credit in the form of a gift card or we can issue a refund via the original payment method (credit card or PayPal refunds will be made to the card or account used in the original transaction).

Defective items may be returned or exchanged at any time.


You may exchange an unopened item for a different size, style or item with or without a receipt. If the item being returned is of a lower value then the item(s) being purchased, the value of the returned item will be applied to your new purchase. If the exchange is being made without a receipt, the returned item will be exchanged at the current sale price.

Some exchanges due to defects must be addressed directly with the manufacturer. If you have questions about an item and possible defects or damage, please send us an email at and we will help determine if we are able to exchange the item, or if the exchange must be handled with the manufacturer.

Free Online Returns:

Online purchases may be returned in store or by mail. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Please note that we are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after they are marked as delivered by the carrier, and refunds will not be issued in these instances until an investigation has been completed by the carrier.

We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in shipping.

Once your online return is received by mail, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to the credit card or PayPal account that was used as the original method of payment. You will receive an email receipt of the refund. If your item is being exchanged, we will send out the new item as soon as possible and you will receive an email with new shipping information.  

Your refund may take several days to process and appear on your credit card statement or PayPal account.  If you haven’t received a refund within 10 days, please contact us at 616-233-4008 or

If you received an item as a gift and you wish to return it by mail, please let us know when you contact us and we can issue your refund as a store credit instead if you wish.


Please Note: If you purchased children's clothing from the Hopscotch web site headquartered in India, you will need to contact their customer service center regarding returns and refunds. We are not affiliated with them in any way and will be unable to help you.
