It is December 1st and Kate is far from her family. She is deeply worried over her father who is at home seriously ill. The four weeks until Christmas seems like an eternity, but in the course of those 24 days of Advent, she discovers that small acts of love have the power to bring joy to others and a hope she could never have imagined.
