My twin girls are loving this sweet little set. At 19mos, they’re a little young for the smallest pieces like the spoon and teapot lid, but they’re having ball with the tiny cups, sugar bowl and teapot. The set itself is quite small but perfectly in line with what I’d expect for a Japanese-style tea set made for the 2 and up crowd. I feel much more comfortable with this non-toxic tea set than with one gifted to us with questionable paint. Teething never seems to end around here, and thankfully this set is sturdy and made of only very safe materials. There aren’t any sharp edges either, so I’m not worried about one twin swinging a piece and hitting the other. It also arrived very quickly from Hopscotch, so we didn’t have to wait long to play with it.
